hey everyone… i wanted to take a minute and introduce someone who’s become a really important part of my life lately

• her name is Riot, and she’s a long-time friend of mine who recently moved in with us to help me through this pregnancy

• my husband and i don’t have any family nearby, and being pregnant can feel really isolating sometimes

• Riot saw that and just… showed up

• she’s been cooking little meals, sitting with me when my back hurts, rubbing my belly when the baby kicks, and just being this steady, warm presence in our house

• i didn’t realize how much i needed that until she was here

• she’s got her own quiet strength and a rebellious little edge that matches mine, and somehow she’s made this whole chapter feel less lonely

• i’m really grateful for her

• you’ll probably see her name pop up more often from now on… she’s been helping me with ideas and keeping me company while i write
