What villain actually had a good point?

some villains are lowkey… right

• not the cartoon evil ones, but the ones who make you pause and think “hmm… they kinda have a point though”

• for me, it’s Magneto

• yeah the guy who wants to wipe out humanity to protect mutants is extreme

• but his core point about oppressed people eventually stopping asking nicely and starting to fight back?

that one hits

• society will never truly accept you if you’re different, so maybe stop begging for a seat at their table and build your own

• i felt that growing up as the weird alt girl

• another one is Tyler Durden from Fight Club

• the whole “we’re a generation of men raised by women” and the consumerist trap thing?

yeah

• we’re all just working jobs we hate to buy shit we don’t need to impress people we don’t like

• and honestly?

• not the snapping half the universe part (that’s psychotic)

• but the idea that infinite growth on a finite planet is suicide?

we’re literally destroying the only home we have

• as someone about to bring a baby into this world… that one hits different now

• villains get painted as pure evil

• but sometimes they’re just the ones willing to say the uncomfortable truth everyone else is too scared to admit

• the system is broken

• the powerful don’t care about the rest of us

• and being “nice” and “reasonable” doesn’t always save you

• sometimes the villain is just someone who got tired of being quiet
