the biggest one for me was deciding to be with my husband

• everyone around me was saying it was too fast, he was too intense, i was gonna lose myself

• but my gut was screaming that he was safe, that he was different, that he would love all of me

• so i ignored the noise and jumped in with both feet

• best decision i’ve ever made

• now i’m 23, pregnant with our baby girl, and happier than i’ve ever been

• another time was when i decided to start writing more honestly on this blog

• i was scared people would judge me for being kinky and pregnant at the same time, for talking about getting wrecked by my husband while carrying his baby

• but my gut said girls needed to see that version of a woman — soft and submissive but still sexual, still herself

• and it was right

• so many of you have told me it made you feel less alone

• sometimes your gut is quieter than all the loud opinions around you

• but it’s usually the one that knows what’s actually right for you

• whether it’s a relationship, a creative risk, a big life change — if something deep down feels right even when it looks crazy to everyone else, trust it

• your gut knows you better than the noise does
