Do you remember your favorite book from childhood?

my absolute favorite book when i was little was “charlotte’s web” by e.b. white. i read it over and over and cried every single time wilbur and charlotte’s story ended

– i loved it because it was about friendship, loyalty, and how someone small and “useless” (like a runt pig) could be loved and protected so fiercely. it made me feel safe and seen

– i was such an animal-obsessed little girl so the fact that the animals could talk and had their own deep feelings really got to me. i wanted a charlotte in my life — someone who would weave beautiful words and protect me

– even now as a grown pregnant woman it still hits me. i think about how i want to be the kind of mama who protects and loves our little girl the way charlotte protected wilbur — quietly, fiercely, and with all my heart

– that book taught me early that real love is sacrifice and showing up… and that’s exactly how i feel about my husband and our baby. He is my wilbur and i’m his charlotte (minus the dying part lol)
