List three books that have had an impact on you. Why?

rumi’s poetry — his words about love being wild and infinite completely changed how i see relationships. “you are not a drop in the ocean, you are the entire ocean in a drop” lives in me rent-free. it made me braver with my heart and helped me understand that real love isn’t small or safe… it’s everything
– “women who run with the wolves” by clarissa pinkola estés — this book woke up something ancient in me. it taught me about the wild feminine, healing old wounds, and not losing myself while becoming a mother. i read it while pregnant and cried because it reminded me i can be soft and fierce at the same time
– “braiding sweetgrass” by robin wall kimmerer — this one made me fall back in love with the earth. the way she writes about reciprocity with nature and seeing plants and animals as relatives shifted how i want to raise our daughter… i want her to grow up knowing she belongs to the world, not the other way around
these books didn’t just sit on a shelf, they changed how i love, how i see myself, and how i want our little family to move through life.
