i’ve had a few jobs since i was a teenager but nothing too crazy, i’m only 22 after all. my very first job was at a little pet store in my small town, i was like 16 and it was literally heaven. i got to play with puppies and kittens all day, clean tanks, and help people pick out the perfect pet. i cried when i had to leave that job lol

– after that i worked at a cute little coffee shop for a couple years, making drinks, talking to regulars, and blasting my alt playlists when the manager wasn’t around. i met some really cool people there and learned how to make a mean latte

– i did a short stint at a bookstore too which was dangerous for my wallet because i’d spend half my paycheck on books and records. i loved being around all the stories and music though

– and now… well now i’m a full-time pregnant wife which feels like the hardest and best job i’ve ever had. growing our baby girl, taking care of our home, loving on my husband, and still trying to keep that wild creative spark alive. it’s messy and exhausting but i wouldn’t trade it for anything
