– i used to think legacy was about big achievements or how many people knew your name. but now that i’m pregnant with our little girl everything feels different. i don’t want to be remembered for being perfect or successful. i want her to remember how deeply she was loved. how safe she felt. how we chose each other every single day even when it wasn’t easy.

– i want our daughter to grow up knowing she never has to shrink herself for anyone. that she can be soft and strong at the same time. that love isn’t about control or perfection but about showing up even when it’s messy. i want her to see that her parents built a home full of real love, not some picture-perfect version of family.

– my husband and i talk a lot about breaking cycles. i want our legacy to be one of healing… choosing each other over and over, choosing freedom over fear, choosing kindness even when the world is cold. i want her to know that her mama fought for her peace and her daddy fought to be better every day.

– honestly? i just want to leave behind a little girl who knows she is enough exactly as she is. that’s the legacy that matters most to me. not money, not fame… just love that lasts. love that our babies can carry with them long after we’re gone.

what about you? what legacy do you want to leave behind? what do you hope your kids or the people who love you remember most about you? we read every comment and love hearing your hearts.

  1. Love the legacies you listed out! You’ll be a great momma! I’m in that two-berty phase now. Some days are a little tougher than others but it’s all worth it!

    1. Omg I have more emotions on a daily basis Than I know what to do with! One minute excited the next minute terrified of the enormous responsibility. 🥰
