What is your career plan?

– I used to think my career plan was very different. In school I was always the girl who said she wanted to travel the world, work in marketing or music, maybe even move to a big city and “live the dream.” I thought being a full-time mom sounded boring and old-fashioned. I wanted independence, excitement, and to prove I could do big things on my own.

– But then I met my husband. Slowly, everything shifted. The more time I spent with him, the more I realized I didn’t actually want that fast-paced, always-busy life. I started craving something quieter and deeper — a home, a family, a partner I could build a real life with.

– Now my career plan is simple: I want to be a full-time wife and mom. I want to stay home, raise our babies, make our house feel warm and safe, and support my husband in every way I can. I want to be there for every first word, every scraped knee, every bedtime story. That feels more meaningful to me than any job title ever could.

– I’m not saying this path is for everyone, but for me it feels right. Meeting the man I love changed how I see the world. He showed me that choosing this life isn’t giving up — it’s choosing what actually fills my heart.
