What was the last live performance you saw?

– The last live performance we saw together was a killer Led Zeppelin cover band at the Peabody last year. They were so good — the singer had that raw Robert Plant energy and the guitarist absolutely nailed Jimmy Page’s riffs. We stood near the back, my husband’s arms wrapped around me from behind, both of us singing along like idiots to “Stairway to Heaven” and “Whole Lotta Love.”
– The whole room was sweaty and loud and full of people who just wanted to feel the music. It was one of those nights where everything felt electric. I remember looking up at my husband during “Kashmir” and thinking “this is exactly where I’m supposed to be.”
– Even now, when I hear Zeppelin on the radio, I get flashbacks to that night — his hands on my waist, the bass vibrating through my chest, and that feeling of being young and wild together.
– Now that I’m pregnant, I keep daydreaming about taking our little bean to their first concert someday. Maybe not Zeppelin, but something that makes them feel as alive as that night made us feel.
What was the last live performance you saw? Was it a big arena show or a small intimate one? Tell us in the comments — we love hearing your stories!
