Do you vote in political elections?

Do you vote in political elections?

Short answer: No, we don’t vote in political elections.

– We used to try, but over time we realized we can’t keep participating in a system we don’t believe in.

– To us, both major political parties are essentially the same — they may argue and put on a show, but at the end of the day they protect the government’s own power and interests, not the people’s.

– We see it clearly in how much we’re all taxed, how little real change happens no matter who wins, and how the system always seems to benefit the powerful while the rest of us keep struggling.

– Voting feels like choosing which hand gets to hold the leash for the next four years. It gives the illusion of control while the real power stays exactly where it’s always been.

– Especially now that we’re expecting a baby, we don’t want to teach our child that the most meaningful thing they can do is pick a team every few years and hope the “right” people win.

– We’d rather spend our energy building something outside the system — our own little world, our own values, our own way of living and loving.

– We want our little bean to grow up understanding that real freedom isn’t given by voting — it’s practiced every day in how we live, how we treat each other, and how we refuse to outsource our lives to politicians and corporations.

What about you? Do you vote? Have you ever stopped? Why or why not? We’d genuinely love to hear your thoughts, no judgment.
