Do you have a quote you live your life by or think of often?

Yes… I do.

One quote I think about almost every single day now is:

> “The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.”

> — Albert Camus

I didn’t always live by this, but becoming a wife and now carrying our baby has made it feel heavier and more real.

Every choice we make — how we love each other, how we plan to raise our child, the way we reject rushing back into “normal” life just because society says we should — feels like a quiet little rebellion. We’re choosing to build something slower, softer, and freer in a world that wants us to be busy, obedient, and afraid.

Another one I keep close to my heart is simpler:

> “Love is the only thing that makes the world worth fighting for.”

Because at the end of the day, that’s what this is all about for us. Not politics, not being “edgy,” not proving anything to anyone. Just trying to love each other fiercely and raise our little bean in a home where they feel safe, seen, and free to be whoever they are.

Those two ideas guide me a lot lately — radical freedom and radical love. They don’t always go together easily, but we’re trying to make them fit.

What about you? Is there a quote that lives in your head and heart? One you come back to when life feels heavy or when you need to remember why you do what you do?

We’d love to hear it.
