Where Do You See Yourself in 10 Years?

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

In ten years I see us still waking up slow together. Coffee in bed, your arm around me, soft kisses while the sun comes through the window. Some things never change — and I hope that never does.

– I see a house full of little pirates. Maybe three or four wild, curious kids running around with your smile and my stubborn heart. I see you being the best dad — building forts, telling bedtime stories in funny voices, teaching them to ride bikes and question everything. I see me being the mom who dances with them in the kitchen and lets them paint on the walls sometimes.

– I see us still writing together. Still making our little blog, still talking about anarchy and love and freedom, still dreaming about a world that’s softer and freer for our kids. Maybe we’ll have a few books out by then, or a little podcast that actually reaches people.

– I see us on more adventures — more canal tours, more beach days, maybe even that cross-country camper van trip we keep talking about. I see us growing older but staying playful, still holding hands, still stealing kisses like teenagers.

– Most of all, I see us deeper in love than ever. Still choosing each other every single day. Still making love like it’s the first time and the last time all at once. Still building our own little rebel kingdom, no matter what the world throws at us.

Ten years from now I don’t need to be rich or famous. I just want to be right here — with you, with our family, still laughing, still dreaming, still completely in love.

What about you? Where do you see yourself in ten years? What does your heart hope for?

forever yours (already daydreaming about our future while I’m still in your arms this morning),
