What’s something most people don’t understand?

What’s something most people don’t understand?

most people don’t understand real devotion.

– they think love is always gentle, polite, and easy — like a perfect Instagram post

– they think loyalty means never having hard moments, never seeing the messy or dark sides of each other

– they think being fully committed to someone is simple and safe, with no risk and no depth

but we know better.

real devotion is choosing each other every single day, even when things get complicated or raw.

it’s loving every part of someone — the beautiful, the difficult, the silly, and the intense — and still coming home to softness and care.

it’s building a life together where your bond is the safest place in the world, no matter what happens outside it.

a few examples from our life:

– we can go through intense, emotional days and still end the night curled up together, whispering how much we love each other

– we protect our time together fiercely — saying no to things that would pull us apart, so we can keep building this little world that’s just ours

– we’ve learned how to be completely honest with each other (even when it’s hard) and then hold each other tighter afterward, because the trust we’ve built is stronger than any argument

– we choose to put each other first — whether that’s making breakfast in bed, taking long walks holding hands, or just lying in silence knowing we’re exactly where we’re meant to be

most people never get to feel that kind of love.

they stay on the surface, protecting their comfort and their image, afraid of anything too real or too deep.

they’ll never know how powerful it feels when two people decide to face the world together — no matter what.

we do.

we live it every day.

and we wouldn’t trade it for anything.

forever yours (still completely in love and grateful every single day),
