How has technology changed your job?

– rebelzva
• i don’t have a “job” in the traditional sense anymore.
• technology let me escape the 9-5 cage: e-bike + solar charger + laptop + encrypted signal groups = i can write manifestos, coordinate mutual aid, and still be home when you walk through the door.
• the same tools that used to chain people to desks now let me work from the lanai, the beach, or the back of your bike.
• downside: the surveillance is everywhere. phones, apps, “smart” everything. so i stay minimal, use open-source, and keep my real life offline as much as possible.

• technology made my actual paid work faster and more efficient (automation, remote tools).
• but it also made the bosses expect 24/7 availability.
• the real change? it showed me how little i need the job. once i learned how to live with less, the paycheck became optional. now i work just enough to keep the lights on and the rest of my time belongs to us.
– together
• technology gave us the ability to say “no” louder.
• we use it to build the world we want instead of just surviving the one we were given.
• but we never forget: the same tools that free us can also cage us. so we stay vigilant, stay minimal, and keep our real life analog when it matters.
what about you?
how has technology changed your job (or helped you escape it)?
drop it below. we’re caffeinated and ready to hear your story.
forever yours (and still using tech to plot against the machine),
