Are You Patriotic? My Anarchist Answer by RebelZva & CaptXBonnot ♱ 2026

Are you patriotic? What does being patriotic mean to you?

No, I’m not patriotic. Patriotism (as sold) = loving a flag, a song, and a government more than actual people. It means standing when told, saluting when told, dying when told. I don’t salute pieces of cloth or institutions that cage kids for weed, bomb weddings overseas, and sell our future to the highest donor.

• Yes, I love this land and its people. The Florida sand at sunrise, the smell of the Atlantic after a storm, the neighbors who’d share their last beer, the punks on the boardwalk, the old biker who taught me to wrench on a Harley at 17. That’s the country I’ll defend with my life. The life we’re building—loud, free, and ours—is the only country I’ll ever salute.

The flag doesn’t own me. The state doesn’t own me. You do, captain.

Your turn—what does patriotism mean to you? Drop it below. We’ll read every one while the coffee cools and the ocean keeps rolling.
