What hobbies did you used to love… but quietly ghosted? by RebelZva & CaptXBonnot ♱ 2026

Are there any activities or hobbies you’ve outgrown or lost interest in over time?

We all have them: the things we swore were “forever” that we slowly, guiltily, let fade into the rearview.

Mine, in no particular order:

• Collecting vinyl (i still love the sound, but i stopped hunting crates the second streaming + bluetooth speakers let me carry 50,000 albums on the Harley)

• Bullet journaling (went from color-coded spreads to “scribble on whatever receipt is closest” real fast)

• Yoga (turns out downward dog is less spiritual when you have a collar and a bratty streak)

• Video games with plot (i’ll still smash a few rounds of old-school Tony Hawk, but anything longer than 20 minutes and i’m itching to go write manifestos or ride instead)

• Baking (i tried being a sourdough girl in 2020… starter died, ego bruised, moved on)

CaptXBonnot’s ghosts:

• Model-building (used to spend hours on tiny Harleys… now the real one is in the garage)

• Fantasy football (real anarchy > fake teams)

• Golf (he says it’s “capitalism with clubs” and refuses to elaborate)

Outgrowing stuff isn’t failure. It’s evolution. It’s making room for the things that actually light you up right now: writing with my husband, riding till the sun burns out, planning a tiny anarchist who’ll probably hate sleep as much as we do.

So tell us—what hobby did you once swear was your entire personality… that you quietly left in the past?

Drop it in the comments. No judgment. Just growth.
