The fuse is lit. Pick your poison:
• another civil war (same song, different century)
• a managed “color revolution” that just swaps one ruling class for another
• or the third option nobody in power wants you to notice: walk away and rebuild on the document they already swore to uphold.
The original Constitution (pre-14th-Amendment corporate hijacking) is the most radically libertarian-anarchist charter ever ratified by a large population. Read it again with fresh eyes:
• No direct federal income tax (16th Amendment betrayal)
• No standing army in peacetime (Article I, Section 8)
• No federal police (10th Amendment)
• No central bank (they had to cheat with the Fed in 1913)
• No paper money mandate (Article I, Section 10 – only gold and silver coin)
• Enumerated powers so narrow the feds were basically a referee, not a ruler
That’s not minarchy. That’s voluntary union with an escape clause (secession never forbidden).
The system we have now is a mutant:
• corporate personhood
• administrative tyranny
• endless war
• money printer go brrr
• surveillance panopticon
Civil war keeps the mutant alive and bleeding. Managed revolution just changes the mask on the same cage.
The libertarian-anarchist play is simpler and bloodless:
1. Nullify everything after 1871 at the state and county level
2. Reconvene under the original Constitution + explicit right of secession
3. Let every community opt in or opt out—no coercion, no conquest
4. Private law societies, competing defense, voluntary courts, hard money, free exit
Murray Rothbard: “The primary plank of libertarian strategy must be to push for secession at every level.” Lysander Spooner already proved the Constitution only binds those who voluntarily sign it—nobody alive today did. So we’re already morally free. All that’s left is to act like it.
The coming fracture doesn’t have to be 600,000 dead again. It can be a thousand peaceful divorces that leave the land intact and the people sovereign.
Two futures:
• rivers of blood over who gets to keep the cage
• or a thousand new societies built on consent, gold, and the right to walk away
Choose.
We choose the reboot. The original Constitution + libertarian-anarchy + the delete key for everything after 1865 is the cleanest, least bloody, most American revolution possible.
The tree of liberty is overgrown with parasites. Time to prune, not burn.
